Honey butter skillet corn

Here’s a quick, creamy, and totally addictive Honey Butter Skillet Corn recipe a perfect side dish for BBQs, potlucks, or cozy dinners. It takes just 15 minutes and uses simple ingredients!

🍯 HONEY BUTTER SKILLET CORN

Ingredients:

  • 2 tbsp unsalted butter

  • 2 tbsp honey

  • 1 bag (16 oz / ~450g) frozen corn (or 3 cups fresh corn kernels)

  • 2–3 tbsp cream cheese (softened)

  • Salt and pepper to taste

  • Optional garnish: chopped parsley or chives


Instructions:

  1. Melt the Butter & Honey:
    In a medium skillet over medium heat, melt the butter and honey together until smooth and bubbly.

  2. Add Corn:
    Stir in the corn and cook for about 5–6 minutes, until heated through and starting to lightly caramelize. Stir occasionally.

  3. Make It Creamy:
    Reduce heat to low and stir in the cream cheese. Mix until fully melted and the mixture becomes creamy.

  4. Season:
    Add salt and pepper to taste. (Optional: add a pinch of garlic powder or paprika for an extra layer of flavor.)

  5. Serve Warm:
    Serve immediately, garnished with fresh herbs if desired.

🌽 Tips & Variations:

  • Spicy version: Add a dash of cayenne or diced jalapeños.

  • Cheesy twist: Mix in a handful of shredded cheddar or Parmesan.

  • Fresh corn: If using fresh corn, sautĂ© for a few extra minutes until tender.
