Here’s a detailed recipe for something that fits the description: Garlic Cheesy Crispy Breadsticks – deliciously crispy, cheesy, and bursting with garlic flavor.

🧄 Cheesy Garlic Crispy Breadsticks

🔹 Description:

These breadsticks are thin and crispy on the edges, cheesy in the middle, and loaded with garlic and herbs. Perfect as a snack, appetizer, or side for pasta or soup.

🧺 Ingredients

Dough (or use store-bought pizza dough):

  • 1 ½ cups all-purpose flour

  • ½ tsp salt

  • ½ tsp sugar

  • 1 tsp instant yeast

  • ½ cup warm water (110°F/43°C)

  • 1 tbsp olive oil

Garlic Butter Topping:

  • 3 tbsp unsalted butter, melted

  • 3–4 garlic cloves, minced (or 1½ tsp garlic paste)

  • 1 tbsp fresh parsley, chopped (or 1 tsp dried parsley)

  • ¼ tsp salt

  • ⅛ tsp black pepper (optional)

  • Pinch of red chili flakes (optional, for heat)

Cheese:

  • 1 to 1½ cups shredded mozzarella cheese

  • ¼ cup grated Parmesan cheese (optional but recommended)

🍴 Instructions

Step 1: Make the Dough (skip if using store-bought dough)

  1. Activate the yeast (if not instant):
In a bowl, combine warm water, sugar, and yeast. Let sit for 5–10 minutes until frothy.

  2. Mix dry ingredients:
In a large mixing bowl, add flour and salt.

  3. Form the dough:
Add the yeast mixture (or just warm water and instant yeast) and olive oil. Mix until combined and knead for 5–7 minutes until the dough is smooth and elastic.

  4. Let it rise:
Place the dough in a lightly oiled bowl, cover, and let rise for 45 minutes to 1 hour or until doubled in size.

Step 2: Prepare Garlic Butter

  1. In a small bowl, mix melted butter, minced garlic, parsley, salt, pepper, and chili flakes. Set aside.

Step 3: Assemble and Bake

  1. Preheat oven to 425°F (220°C). Line a baking sheet or pizza pan with parchment paper.

  2. Roll out the dough:
On a lightly floured surface, roll the dough into a thin rectangle or circle, about ¼ inch thick (thinner for crispier breadsticks).

  3. Brush with garlic butter:
Spread the garlic butter evenly over the surface of the dough.

  4. Add cheese:
Sprinkle mozzarella generously over the top. Add Parmesan if using.

  5. Bake:
Bake in the preheated oven for 12–15 minutes or until the edges are golden brown and crispy, and the cheese is bubbling.

Step 4: Slice and Serve

  1. Let cool for 2–3 minutes, then slice into sticks using a pizza cutter or sharp knife.

  2. Serve hot with marinara sauce, ranch, or your favorite dip.

🧠 Tips for Extra Deliciousness:

  • For ultra-crispy edges, roll the dough thinner and bake an extra 2–3 minutes.

  • Add a sprinkle of Italian seasoning over the cheese before baking.

  • Use a pizza stone for even crispier results.
