Here’s a rich, buttery, and elegant recipe for making Air Fryer Lobster Tails – juicy meat with golden garlic butter topping, ready in minutes! 🦞✨


🦞 Air Fryer Lobster Tail Recipe

Ingredients (for 2 lobster tails):

  • 2 lobster tails (4–6 oz each, thawed if frozen)

  • 3 tbsp unsalted butter, melted

  • 2 cloves garlic, minced

  • 1 tsp lemon juice (plus lemon wedges for serving)

  • ½ tsp paprika (for color & flavor)

  • ½ tsp salt

  • ¼ tsp black pepper

  • Fresh parsley, chopped (for garnish)


Instructions:

  1. Prepare lobster tails

    • Using kitchen shears, cut down the top of the lobster shell lengthwise to the tail fin.

    • Gently pull the shell apart and loosen the lobster meat, lifting it slightly and resting it on top of the shell (this is called the “butterfly” method).

  2. Make garlic butter

    • In a small bowl, mix melted butter, garlic, lemon juice, paprika, salt, and pepper.

  3. Season lobster

    • Brush the lobster meat generously with the garlic butter mixture.

    • Save some for basting halfway through cooking.

  4. Air fry

    • Preheat air fryer to 380°F (193°C).

    • Place lobster tails in the basket, meat side up.

    • Cook for 6–8 minutes (depending on size) until the meat is opaque and reaches 140–145°F (60–63°C).

  5. Finish & serve

    • Brush again with warm garlic butter.

    • Garnish with fresh parsley and serve with lemon wedges.

  • Extra Flavor Boost: Add a pinch of cayenne or chili flakes to the butter for a spicy kick.

  • Cheesy Upgrade: Sprinkle grated Parmesan on top during the last 2 minutes of cooking.
