Taco Bell Cheesy Quesarito

Here’s a recipe for the Taco Bell Cheesy Quesarito, combining a cheesy quesadilla with a beefy burrito, just like the fast food favorite.


🌯 Cheesy Quesarito (Taco Bell Style)

🧂 Ingredients:

For the seasoned beef:

  • 1 lb ground beef

  • 1/2 cup water

  • 2 tbsp taco seasoning (store-bought or homemade — see below)

Taco seasoning (optional homemade blend):

  • 1 tbsp chili powder

  • 1 tsp paprika

  • 1 tsp cumin

  • 1/2 tsp garlic powder

  • 1/2 tsp onion powder

  • 1/4 tsp oregano

  • 1/4 tsp cayenne (optional)

  • Salt & pepper to taste

For the quesadilla base:

  • 2 large flour tortillas (10-inch size)

  • 1 cup shredded Mexican cheese blend

  • 2 tbsp nacho cheese sauce (store-bought or homemade)

For the Quesarito filling:

  • 1/2 cup cooked seasoned rice (white rice with a squeeze of lime & chopped cilantro)

  • 1/2 cup seasoned ground beef (from above)

  • 2 tbsp sour cream

  • 2 tbsp shredded cheddar (optional)


🔥 Instructions:

1. Make the seasoned beef:

  • Brown the ground beef in a skillet over medium heat.

  • Drain excess fat.

  • Stir in water and taco seasoning.

  • Simmer for 5–7 minutes until thickened.

2. Make the quesadilla:

  • Lay one tortilla flat in a skillet over medium heat.

  • Sprinkle the shredded cheese evenly across it.

  • Add a second tortilla on top.

  • Cook for 1–2 minutes per side until golden and melty.

  • Remove from heat and let cool slightly, then lay flat for assembly.

3. Assemble the Quesarito:

  • In the center of the cheesy quesadilla, layer:

    • A scoop of seasoned rice

    • Ground beef

    • Nacho cheese sauce

    • Sour cream

    • Extra shredded cheese if desired

4. Wrap it up:

  • Fold the sides in, then roll it up like a burrito.

  • Optional: Place the rolled Quesarito seam-side down in the skillet and lightly toast again for a crispier finish.


🍽️ Serve:

Slice in half and serve hot with hot sauce, guacamole, or extra sour cream!
