❄️🍓 Frozen Fruit Salad

🛒 Ingredients (serves 8–10):

  • 1 can (14 oz) crushed pineapple, drained

  • 1 can (15 oz) fruit cocktail or mandarin oranges, drained

  • 1 1/2 cups strawberries, sliced (fresh or frozen)

  • 1 ripe banana, sliced (optional)

  • 1 cup seedless grapes (optional)

  • 1/2 cup chopped pecans or walnuts (optional)

  • 1 jar (10 oz) maraschino cherries, halved

  • 1 cup mini marshmallows

  • 1 cup sour cream

  • 1 cup whipped topping (like Cool Whip) or homemade whipped cream

🥣 Instructions:

  1. Mix the Base

    • In a large bowl, combine drained pineapple, fruit cocktail (or oranges), strawberries, banana, grapes, cherries, and nuts (if using).

  2. Add Creamy Goodness

    • Gently fold in sour cream, whipped topping, and mini marshmallows until everything is evenly coated.

  3. Freeze It

    • Pour the mixture into a 9×13-inch dish or loaf pan. Smooth the top and cover with foil or plastic wrap.

    • Freeze for at least 4 hours or until firm.

  4. Serve

    • Let sit at room temperature for 10–15 minutes before slicing.

    • Cut into squares or scoop with an ice cream scoop.

✅ Tips & Variations:

  • Low-sugar option: Use fresh fruit and sugar-free whipped topping.

  • Tropical twist: Add coconut flakes and swap sour cream for vanilla yogurt.

  • Individual servings: Freeze in muffin tins or silicone molds for grab-and-go portions.
