Garlic Flatbread: Mix

Here’s a simple and tasty Garlic Flatbread Mix recipe you can keep handy for quick, homemade garlic flatbreads anytime!


🧄 Garlic Flatbread Mix (Dry Mix)

Ingredients (Dry Mix):

  • 2 cups all-purpose flour
  • 1 tbsp garlic powder
  • 1 tsp onion powder
  • 1 tsp dried oregano
  • 1 tsp dried parsley
  • 1 tsp salt
  • 1 tsp baking powder
  • 1/2 tsp sugar (optional)

To Make Flatbread:

Ingredients (to add to dry mix):

  • 3/4 cup warm water
  • 2 tbsp olive oil

Instructions:

  1. Combine the dry mix ingredients well in a bowl or airtight container. Store for up to 3 months.
  2. When ready to make flatbread, add warm water and olive oil to 1 cup of dry mix. Stir to form a soft dough.
  3. Knead dough lightly on a floured surface for about 2 minutes until smooth.
  4. Divide dough into 4 equal balls. Roll each out into a flat oval or round shape.
  5. Heat a skillet over medium heat. Cook each flatbread 2–3 minutes per side until golden and cooked through.
  6. For extra garlic flavor, brush with melted butter mixed with minced fresh garlic and chopped parsley after cooking.

Tips:

  • Add shredded cheese or chili flakes to the dough for variety.
  • Serve with dips like hummus, tzatziki, or as a side to soups and salads.
